Linda Brownlee is a London based photographer and director. She brings an intuitive and sensitive eye to her personal, commercial and editorial work that shifts seamlessly between documentary, portraiture and fashion. Her photography has featured regularly in publications such as British Vogue, The New York Times, Dazed & Confused, and The Guardian magazines alongside a broad range of commercial clients that include Bally, Miu Miu, and Nike. She has collaborated with Nowness, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Edie Campbell and Simone Rocha amongst others on moving image projects.
Linda’s interest in poetry and performance led to a new series of studio work for SIXTEEN. Using photography, stills and video she captures penetrating and intimate portraits of young poets across the UK. She also worked specifically with a young person from HOME’s Young identity group who, along with all of the young people involved, created their own poems to sit alongside their portrait.
